Do you know that having high blood pressure can
be deadly? This is true!
There are about 700,000 Americans that have a stroke each year.
There are also over 150,000 that will die from
having a stroke.
This is very serious. It is the leading cause
of a serious and very long-term disability among people today and
many do not even know that they are at risk for it.
Many think of a stroke as an old person's
problem.
Not true!
There are thousands of people each year that
have a stroke and are under the age of 65.
It is even becoming more common for young
people to experience a stroke because of high blood pressure and not
taking care of it like they should.
This is because high blood pressure can cause
many problems for your health.
You have to make sure that you are maintaining
your blood pressure so that you are able to live a long and healthy
life.
If you or someone that you know has high blood pressure they may be
setting themselves up for a terrible stroke ahead of them.
This is why there are more unnecessary deaths
due to high blood pressure each year.
There are many that do not realize that if they
do not take care of their body in the right way, they may be setting
themselves up for a terrible disaster to happen to them.
There is good news and that is that you can
protect yourself from having a stroke.
You have to make sure that you are doing the following so that you
are safe
-
Know the risk factors that are
involved.
-
Reduce your risk factors including
high blood pressure before they become a problem in your life.
-
Learn the warning signs of a stroke.
This will help you determine if you have a problem or not.
-
Know what to do if you notice the
warning signs of having a stroke for yourself or for someone that
you know and love.
Get your blood pressure checked often. You will
free blood pressure testing machines in many of your local
supermarkets and drug stores. Use them often!
Also make sure you get a complete physical
check up from your doctor at least once a year.
You have to make sure that you are going the
extra distance so that you are able to move past any health problems
that you may encounter.
Having high blood pressure may not seem like a
big deal but it could mean that difference between life and death if
it is not treated properly.
There are so many things that you can do to protect your body and
the reason is that it is your life.
There are many out there that just do not pay
any attention to their warning signs and continue with a bad
lifestyle that is only setting them up for high blood pressure and a
potential stroke.

personal health and wellness.
In today's insanely fast paced and multi-tasked society, it's very
easy for us to slip into the habit of not providing our body with
the proper nutrition needed to keep it running like the well oiled
machine that God designed it to be. Consequently, this poor
nutrition leads to high blood pressure, strokes and even fatal heart
attacks along with many other illnesses.
